We’re thrilled to welcome the Hon. Edward O’Donohue to The Bays Healthcare Group’s Board of Directors.
With an impressive career in law, politics, and community service, Edward brings a wealth of experience to our team. A former Victorian MP for over 15 years, Edward held Ministerial and Shadow Ministerial roles and played a key part in shaping policies, including Victoria’s assisted dying laws. Before politics, he worked as a solicitor, a barrister and in business.
Raised on the Mornington Peninsula, Edward has deep roots in our community and still calls the Peninsula home with his wife Jen and their four children.
“Our four children were born at The Bays and over many decades family members have been lucky enough to experience the wonderful care provided by its skilled and hard-working medical professionals,”” said Edward.
Now working as company director, Edward remains passionate about giving back to the region that shaped him.
“The Bays has a special place in the heart of our local community. It is such an integral and respected part of the Mornington Peninsula community, and it’s a great privilege and responsibility to be able to serve in this capacity.”
With his leadership and passion for community service, Edward’s expertise will help us continue to provide the best possible healthcare for the Peninsula.
“My hope is that my experience across various sectors will enable me to make a positive contribution to the Board and its operation.”
