The Bays Cancer Care Centre

As an independent, not-for-profit hospital, we need both community and philanthropic support to help complete the vital first stage of this project.

Although The Bays Cancer Care Centre construction is on schedule for completion this August, we require more funding to achieve the full fit-out.

Make a tax-deductible donation to The Bays

As a not for profit and community-owned organisation, The Bays Healthcare Group relies on the generosity of the community to help us provide the people of the Mornington Peninsula with high quality healthcare services.

Your support will allow us to keep up with the latest medical developments, purchase equipment, maintain a comfortable and supportive environment for patients and visitors to The Bays Hospital. 

You can either nominate a specific area of The Bays Healthcare Group you wish to support, fund a specific item on our priority needs, or give an unrestricted donation that allows The Bays to direct funds to the area of most need. The Bays has Deductible Gift Recipient status and all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

Our commitment to you is to ensure your gift will be administered and applied in accordance with your expressed wishes and duly acknowledged with our thanks.

There are many ways that you can support The Bays:

Bequests

Making a bequest to The Bays through your estate is a wonderful way of making a significant gift to an organisation providing vital health care to your community. Making a gift of any size in your will to The Bays will help ensure that we can continue to provide exceptional care to future generations. 

Regular giving program

You may wish to support our vital work by committing to make a regular (monthly or quarterly) donation by credit card. Your gift can be directed towards a nominated area of interest or used where it is most needed. Please contact our Fundraising & Community Engagement Coordinator on 03 5970 5339 to discuss regular giving.

Memorial gifts

Families often wish to remember the life of a loved one or special person in a way that has an ongoing benefit for the lives of others. In place of floral tributes, families may request that family, friends and colleagues make a donation to The Bays in memory of the deceased.  The Bays will provide the Funeral Director with ‘memorial envelopes’ for the service. Alternatively, when making funeral arrangements, advise your Funeral Director that you would like donations, in lieu of flowers, to The Bays. Your Funeral Director will contact us to request ‘memorial envelopes’ for the service. In Memoriam, donations can also be made online or by mail using the downloadable donation form. 

Celebration gifts

A milestone celebration in life – a birthday, wedding or an anniversary deserves to be celebrated in a special way. Add special meaning to your celebration by inviting your guests to give a donation to The Bays in lieu of a personal gift to you.  Celebration gifts to The Bays have a positive impact on the lives of many people.  The Bays can provide you with personalised donation cards to accompany your invitation or alternatively donations can be made online or by mail using the downloadable donation form.
