Exciting news – there’s a new recycling cage at the back of the hospital (in the shed at the rear of the Cancer Care Centre)!
In partnership with Rotary Mount Martha, we’re inviting all volunteers to bring in eligible cans and bottles. Every container you drop in helps the environment by reducing litter and also raises funds for The Bays.
What’s eligible? Look for the ’10c refund’ notice on the label.
Accepted items include:
- non-concentrated fruit or vegetable juice containers
- flavoured milk
- beer
- soft drink
- mixed spirit containers (most commonly in cans and small plastic bottles)
Please note that wine and spirit bottles (glass), juice bottles larger than 1L, cordial bottles, plain milk, concentrated juices, and health tonics aren’t eligible.
