We are grateful to the Lions Club Mornington Victoria Inc for its generous $4,000 donation to The Bays Vital Equipment Fund.
Funds raised through the Lions Club’s much-loved Annual Book Fair have helped support the purchase of equipment, technology and resources that assist our teams in providing high-quality care for patients and families across the Mornington Peninsula.
The Mornington Lions Club has been a valued partner of The Bays since 2013, and we are incredibly thankful for their ongoing commitment to supporting healthcare in our local community.
Recently, members of the Lions Club visited The Bays for morning tea and a tour of our Cancer Care Centre. During their visit, they heard from Dr David Blakey from Icon Cancer Centre Australia and learnt more about the services now available locally for patients and families undergoing cancer treatment.
The visit provided an opportunity to share how community support is helping us continue to expand access to compassionate care close to home.
