We’re delighted to celebrate the arrival of Sloane Faylene Walsh, born on 18 July at The Bays to our very own theatre nurse Renee Gledhill and her husband, Brandon Walsh.
Sloane is the couple’s second daughter, joining big sister Alice (nearly 3). Remarkably, all three generations of Renee’s family have started life at The Bays – Renee in 1994, Alice in 2021, and now little Sloane in 2025 – continuing a special family tradition.
Renee was cared for by Dr Emily Fiske along with our wonderful theatre and maternity teams, and supported by Bays team member and student midwife Ruby Green, completing her Continuity of Care Program.
The joy in the room is captured perfectly in this photo, with Renee’s colleagues forming heart-hands to surround her with love.
