A group of our dedicated nurses at our Dialysis Unit in Hastings has reached an incredible milestone, collectively caring for patients for an astonishing 100 years.

Their expertise and compassion have made a lasting impact on countless lives in our local community, providing life-saving treatment for patients managing kidney disease.

Among those marking significant achievements, Nurse Unit Manager Deborah Malkin recently celebrated an extraordinary 30 years of service, while Associate Nurse Unit Manager Sharon Mincher retired after an impressive 25 years at the Dialysis Unit.

In addition, Dialysis Nurse Unit Manager Leanne Waterson reached 25 years of service with The Bays in 2024, and nurse, Omatola Parker was recognised for 20 years of unwavering dedication to patient care.
