Sue Glenn’s bond with The Bays stretches back nearly 84 years – to the very beginning of her life. Born at the Mornington Bush Nursing Hospital, Sue has seen the hospital grow and evolve alongside the community.

“I had my tonsils out there when I was just two,” she recalls, “and then my appendix at age seven.”

Now, decades later, Sue returned once more – this time for a dental procedure. “It was so good being able to walk down to the hospital to be admitted,” she said. “It’s comforting knowing it’s still here, still caring for us, all these years on.”

Sue’s story is a beautiful reminder of the important role local healthcare plays across a lifetime – from childhood to the golden years.
