After decades of dedicated service to his patients and colleagues, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Dr Rob Herrmann, who retired from private practice at The Bays on 15 April.
Dr Herrmann has been a highly respected member of our medical community, providing expert care in gastroenterology with a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, he has played a significant role in supporting patients and colleagues and advancing gastroenterological care in our region.
Throughout his career, Dr Herrmann has been known for his clinical expertise, professionalism, and approachable manner. He has regularly performed endoscopy at The Bays and is widely recognised for his commitment to patient care, often going above and beyond to ensure timely treatment for those in need.
His contribution to The Bays and the broader medical community is greatly valued and will be remembered well beyond his retirement.
As we mark this important milestone, we thank Dr Herrmann for his years of service and wish him all the very best for the next chapter. We hope he enjoys a well-earned retirement with family, friends, and the activities he enjoys most.
Please join us in congratulating Dr Herrmann and sharing your well wishes as we celebrate his remarkable career.
Dr Herrmann’s existing patients can continue their care with Dr Abba Kaul or Dr Richard Le Nauze at Peninsula Gastroenterology.
