After 9 years at The Bays, paediatrician Dr Simon Costello has retired. On his last day, 31 March, Simon attended three caesarean births – including a set of twins – bringing his journey with us full circle.
Since joining in 2017, Simon has been a trusted presence on our paediatric on-call roster and in our clinics, supporting children, families, and our obstetric teams with care, expertise, and kindness.
Through challenges like COVID, his dedication never wavered, leaving a lasting impact on our community.
We wish Simon all the best as he spends more time on the golf course and takes on locum work in Northern NSW.
