Sometimes life lines things up in the most beautiful way.
On 9 December, best friends and neighbours Kirstel Makepeace and Mikaila Pridham both welcomed their second baby boys at The Bays. The births were completely unplanned, both babies arrived early, and neither mum realised the other was in hospital at the time.
Their eldest sons, Mack and Rome, were born just weeks apart. Now the newest additions, Bobbi John Makepeace and Tate Pridham, have followed closely behind their big brothers and share the same birthday, just like their mums.

Both had the same obstetricians for all their births, with Dr Sarah Roberts supporting their firstborns and Dr Natalie Elphinstone caring for them during their second births
Stories like this are a beautiful reminder that some of life’s sweetest moments really do come in pairs.
