Dr Sam Jasinarachchi is a General and Perioperative Physician at The Bays Private Hospital.

Dr Jasinarachchi completed his post-graduate training at Peninsula, Alfred, Monash, Eastern, and Austin Health Services, where he has acquired clinical experience in a wide variety of medical specialities including cardiology, respiratory, nephrology, haematology and immunology, endocrinology, neurology, gastroenterology, and rheumatology.

Dr Jasinarachchi will be able to provide and coordinate comprehensive general medical management for patients with multiple comorbidities.

Dr Jasinarachchi will take referrals for:

• Management of acute and chronic general medical conditions like Dyspnoea, insomnia, chest pain, headache, altered bowel habits with weight loss, malnutrition, Acute confusion, and falls where multi-speciality input is required
• Non-Malignant Haematological Conditions such as Anaemia, venous thromboembolism (VTE) and blood cell dyscrasias.
• Chronic fatigue, pain, anxiety and lethargy for investigations and management. (Assessment for Medicinal Cannabis)
• Chronic muscular- Skeletal Pain, back pain and osteoporosis management.
• Investigations and management of significant weight gain, Management with GLP-1 Agonist (Ozempic, Suxenda)
• Assessment and management of abnormal test results.
• Perioperative management of surgical patients.
