Dr Mark Walland is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon.

He is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Glaucoma Investigation and Research Unit at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne.  and is an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne (St Vincent’s Hospital).

Areas of interest:

Cataract surgery; Glaucoma; complex cataract and glaucoma surgery; toric implant lenses for cataract; medical and surgical management of glaucoma.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO): Examiner – Advanced Clinical Examination; Section Editor (Glaucoma) journal Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology (11 years), Chairman – Victorian Qualification and Education Committee; Chairman – RANZCO Glaucoma Curriculum Review Committee; Board Member – Glaucoma Australia (4 years).
