
Dr Ashwin Subramaniam

Director of Intensive Care, Intensivist and Perioperative Physician
Dr Ashwin Subramaniam is an Intensivist and General Physician with special interests in perioperative patient care. Ashwin is available for private patient perioperative consultation and inpatient management at The Bays Hospital.
Ashwin completed his medical degree in India in 1997 and a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2005. Ashwin then completed his Internal Medicine Fellowship in 2008 and a further Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine in 2013.
After completing his physician training at Eastern Health, he has worked at The Alfred Hospital, Austin Health and Peninsula Health. This broad exposure has consolidated his experience before he commenced employment as a specialist in Peninsula Health Intensive Care Unit. He is the Director of the Acute Admission and Assessment Unit (AAA) for Peninsula Health, Frankston.
Ashwin resides permanently on the Mornington Peninsula with his family.
