Dr Richard Ross

Specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Richard Ross is an Australian-trained FRACS with expertise in complex facial reconstruction, reconstructive and revisional breast surgery, and aesthetic procedures.

He trained in major Melbourne hospitals including The Alfred, Royal Melbourne, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit, and completed further fellowship training in microsurgery and advanced reconstructive techniques. Dr Ross also holds a PhD in head and neck surgical anatomy from the University of Melbourne.

Known for his meticulous technique and patient-centred approach, he emphasises clear communication, thoughtful planning, and outcomes that are natural, functional, and tailored to each individual. Dr Ross holds consultant positions at Peninsula Health, Western Health, and Eastern Health, and is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University.
