Walking through the main streets of Mornington, ‘Making Strides’ is led by trained volunteers and encourages support for one another through your cancer journey. Exercise has been shown to be safe and beneficial for cancer survivors and can help mitigate treatment side effects and improve quality of life.
Afterwards relax and enjoy a casual coffee and chat at The Grand Hotel Mornington.
Our goal is to walk at a moderate pace however we will have more than one volunteer present to accommodate all walking speeds.
Wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear. We will be exercising rain or shine so take care to dress accordingly.
